You mentioned that lemons have quite a bit of citric acid (is that a bad thing?). Does this mean that we should eat them in small quantities? Should i not start out the day by juicing 1 to 2 lemons mixed with distilled water and raw honey? Do you know of any benefits to this combination on an empty stomach?

Lemons are not really a good fruits for us; they are not very nutritional; they supply you with little energy.
The taste tells you this. You like eating a lemon just like that?
A bitter or acid taste generally tells you that it contains susbtances that can easily bind to nutrinets / inhibit their utilization.
You certainly don't need lemons, and they don't help you to lose weight or something.

I guess it's okay to add a few drops of their juice to a salad, as a flavour.
Wai was referring to eating whole / chunks of lemon or lime, or drinking their juice, which is not okay.
