Hi Wai

This is my third day on the diet, my skin is a looking a bit better. All the puss and gunk is coming to the skin surface which i know is normal. My problem is im a student and i usually survive on canned foods and breads, meats etc (which is cheap). Im finding the fruit is soo expensive. Are there any cheap fruits and nuts out there that i should know about? And is it ok to take evening primrose oil every night? I hear it helps the skin. People have been noticing that ive lost weight and im only into the third day. I feel like im doing ok, every time i feel hungry i reach for some fruit or nuts. And i cant seem to find any SHELLED brazillian nuts anywhere!! They are all alreday shelled. A lot of the nuts and even dried fruits have preservatives added into them! ANd how do i know whether its been sun- dried or not? Is one whole avocado enough for lunch? Oh and one more thing ......can i drink a few bottles a water a day? or is that too much? People have been looking at me crazy when i eat all my figs or dates! They think im trying to starve myself! Thanks for your time wai!!

I don't know about the prices in the US, but in my country it is cheapest to eat lots of bananas and drink liters of orange juice, and of course, make sure to add lots of oil and sugar, since these definitely are the cheapest source of energy.
Regarding animal food, egg yolks are the cheapest.
See how far you get with these alone, by submitting suffice amounts of these to the nutrient calculator Then check which nutrients are low in your diet.

You better not. All natural foods that are claimed to 'help the skin', generally contain phytochemicals that have adverse effects too.
the skin knows perfectly well how to 'help' itself; all it needs are sufficient of all nutrients, and, most importantly, not being burdened by toxic, pro-peeling and/or water-atracting substances.
Your skin will perfectly heal when you give it a chance.

And you don't want to lose weight, right?
Post your questions about this issue in the 'gaining muscles' section.
Drinking juices all day, with sugars and fats added, is the most easy and effective way to prevent unwanted weightloss.

Preservatives are not that a problem.
If the fruits are sun-dried, it will definitely say so on the label! (if not, they are not sun-dried) Low-temperature (up to 120 degrees F) dried fruits are okay too.

certainly not! You need to drink sufficient juice with that; the combination of sugars and fats works great.

You better spend that money to buy oranges; that way you absorb both the water AND the nutrients. You don't need water from the bottle when drinking lots of OJ.

Better that than having them stare at your zits, right? [Big Grin]
Just make extremely sure to consume lots of juice (with oil and sugar) and eat bananas all the time, so that you will feel energetic, look energetic, and have a great skin soon.
They will look at you in a different way [Cool]
