Hi,

I just created an Excel (2000) sheet, you can use to balance the amount of fats to the carbohydrates you just ate.

If, for example you eat 2 oranges, the sheet will show you that:

2 Oranges of 250g each, consist of 46.8 grams of carbohydrate and 0,6 grams of fat. By eating 12 brazilnuts you can balance the carbohydrates with the right amount of fat. Or you can eat 30 grams of macadamia's..

The weight per unit values aren't correct yet. I only meassured the brazil nuts (3 grams per nut) and the oranges (about 250 grams a piece). So, we still need to fill in all other values..

On the bottom of the sheet there are instructions..

I hope you find it usefull..

You can download it here: Carbohydrate-Fat Calibrator according to Wai's rule of 0.5 gram of fat for each gram of carbohydrate

Perhaps I'll also write a small javascript version of it..

A note:
If, during the downloading of the Excel sheet, a password is asked for, just press cancel. It will load the sheet anyway..

Is it always necessary to consume .5 grms fat to every gram carb? So if i eat 3-4 cups watermelon i need to eat 15-20 grms fat with it (ie 4-5 yolks, 1 tbsp oil)?

If so i have been undereating fat. I usually just add a couple of yolks or 1 tsp oil to each glass of juice/3-4 cups fruit.
