Hi Giedre according to this last thread
link

you said you were off the diet, because of the way you felt, and you said that you were mainly eating 3 meals a day.

Well I just wanted you to know my experience. I was doing the 3-4 meals a day on this diet, and I was not feeling very good. Then I started eating 7-8 small meals each day, and I feel SO much better and I have more energy, and I never get too hungry. I was stuck in the 3 meals a day for a long time. I never thought I could just eat small meals because I always felt so hungry , and thats why I was so tired, because I would stuff myself 3 times a day. It took about 2 days to get used too this and now I feel 100% better.
Now I am not bloated, tired, or constipated.
So I just wanted to share my experience, because I think this diet has really really helped me.
Good luck and take care

Oh by the way, how I started it was by not eating any more than 400 calories every 2 hours. This way I could not stuff myself, and I never got too hungry. YOu should not worry about the calories, this was just my own way of keeping on track.
I used to binge so my way of sensing REAL hunger is a little messed up, but now it is getting more normal.

Thanks

Dear Moon,
thank you so much for your advice. It is especially helpful because your past experience is quiet similar to mine (lost weight on a low - calorie diet, had problems with constipation and cellulite).
I am still off the diet, partly because I lack motivation (I have no acne and I am almost satisfied with my figure at the moment). However, I am following all the news on board and sooner or later I will start the diet again.
Would you be so kind as to answer just a few more questions for me? Firstly, when you limit one meal to 400 cals, do you have to stop yourself or do you feel naturally satisfied? And what about your weight, have you noticed any changes? As I have mentioned, the week I followed Wai's diet I gained some weight due to overeating. One more thing is that on this diet I feel like my wish to chew stays unsatisfied (I crave something crunchy, doesn't matter if it's a cookie or a piece of broccoli). Do you have the same and how do you deal with it?
Thank you again for your help,
Giedre

Not Moon but can answer the question about craving a good 'chew'. It went away after a couple of weeks. It comes back once in a blue moon now, and when that happens, I crack open a coconut and have a very long and enjoyable 'chew'.
I had a poor appetite at first. I am still losing weight (against my wish) on the diet, but that is another story.

Hi Giedre [Smile]
I would love to answer any questions that you have.
When I limit myslef to 400 cal, I feel naturally satified. It takes about 2 days to get used to it. If I feel kinda hungry I tell myself that I can eat in 2 hours, so that way I never get too hungry. It works out pretty nice now. Now I don't even have to eat every 2 hours sometimes.
Also I am not trying to lose weight, I am a little lighter though. I am mainly here to rid myself of cellulite and stubborn flab. Yes sometimes I want something chewy, in that case I eat carrots, or broccoli in a small salad everyday. I also eat nuts once or twice a day.
When I was eating 3 times a day I felt like i HAD to eat so much because my body had to go without food for many hours. I also got more tired, and felt stuffed. Now though, I am getting back to normal. I used to have problems with bulimia. Now though I haven't done that In a long time. I haven't been on this diet for that long, but I feel better already.

Good luck and best wishes

By the way, I don't really focus too much on the calories, because like Wai says, we should not be worried about the calories.
I sometimes eat less than the 400 hundred cal, or sometimes a little more. That is just around the point where I feel satisfied. The whole point is that I am eating little meals throughout the day, that keep me energized. [Smile] Sometimes I eat up to 8-9 times a day.

Thanks
