I have just started today the sample diet and i want to get it right the first time.

Today I had: 2 bananas, 2 apples followed by shelled nuts or salad.

My question is concerning the use of soap when washing yourself. My reason for ridding myself of acne is 70% because of the acne on my shoulders, arms and back but find it hard to wash without using soap... so today all I did was soak the areas quickly without soap, as I did with the face. What is everyone using to keep the shoulders, back and chest clean? I have heard rose water and cucumber juice before but is there something easier?

Thanks for any resonse.

Another question i wish to ask is the use of raisins... it seems they are o.k, but the ones i just purchased also mention that there is hydrogenated oil in them, any problem?

Hello, before you read my comments, I should remind you that I am not Wai, but have tried to answer as she would. She might have corrections.

Please eat more! Much, much more.
You can feed your diet through the nutrient calculator to see about how much you need to eat. You might think it's a lot, but remember that many fruits consist largely of water.

I will leave this for someone else...

I recommend you read this this Q and A answer. Point #11 addresses this.

I don't recall ever having seeing raisins with hydrogenated oil in them... that really doesn't sound right (or good), but I can't say authoratively.

I'd suggest looking for a different brand.
(Also be aware that some raisins are dried using much heat, which potentially can cause problems. I am presently unaware, however, of how to know this for certain, aside from attributing a break out to them.)

Hope that helps,

Brian
