Wai 01-09-2003 07:39 AM	hi melmel, some maple syrups (100% maple) are without any protein, and cannot cause acne, unless you are not consuming enough fat (in some). Maple syrup from cane and only 15% maple contain some protein, and CAN cause acne. But it is a very low protein 'munch food', and thus relatively safe.
