Consuming sugars from fruits, or added sugars, cannot cause acne, but what CAN cause acne in some acne patients, is not consuming sufficient fats with / right after the sugars;

In some acne patients, the blood sugar level is less strictly regulated by hormones (such as insulin, glucagon, somatostatin), and therefore in those people the blood sugar level can flutuate to a greater extend. And since glucose has water-attracting properties, this can also lead to water retention (diabetes often comes with water retention). Thus, to prevent too much fluctuating blood sugar levels, you need to balance your blood sugar levels by consuming sufficient fats with / right after every time that you consume sugars / fruits.

First, you better find out whether fluctuating blood sugar levels can cause acne in you. So, follow the 100% strict sample diet for a week, with the only difference that you don't consume fat after every sugary meal. Your skin will tell you whether your acne is (partially) caused by too much fluctuating blood sugar levels.
